Mental health joint response car goes live to support people in crisis

People in Norfolk and Waveney experiencing a mental health crisis can now benefit from a dedicated mental health response car.

The car is a joint project from the area’s mental health service provider, Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT), Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), using funding from Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Trust is officially ‘veteran aware’

Norfolk and Suffolk’s mental health trust is officially 'Veteran Aware' for its work with past and present members of the Armed Forces.

The accreditation, which was awarded on Armistice Day from the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VC HA), acknowledges NSFT’s commitment to improving care for veterans, reservists, members of the Armed Forces and their families.
